Snowden Guitars is up bright & early today

Finished a batch of Cigar Box Guitars Thursday. Just in time for Inman Park Festival this weekend.  Among those Guitars being shown: the always popular Cohiba, Old Red (for some of you UGA Fans) and a Lost City (another popular one).

Inman Park Festival is always a great weekend. Lots of music and artists. I will have an artist booth with 20+ Cigar Box Guitars as well as music, tshirts, slides and gig bags. Come see me. Go to events on my facebook page and let me know you will be stopping by.

A great weekend event in Louisiana

If you're in the Natchitoches Louisiana area this weekend (Easter weekend), spend the day listening to some Cigar Box Guitar Music. I will be playing a few tunes as well as helping make some Cigar Box Instruments with some Junior Rangers. We will be there from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. National Park Service

The Cane River Creole National Park Service will host its annual Junior Ranger Day event on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Oakland Plantation. Step back in time at Oakland Plantation and enjoy activities and crafts while learning about the past. Kids can make a Cigar-Box Instrument with special guest Mike Snowden. Oakland Plantation is located at 4386 Hwy. 494 in Natchez, Louisiana, just 12 miles south of Natchitoches. For more information call 318-356-8411. Event is free and open to the public

Atlanta Dogwood Festival is this weekend and I will be performing in the Eco-Village on Sunday around noon - 4:00. I will have a few Cigar Box Guitars, CDs and tshirts on site as well. The Eco-Village includes the Market Place which is filled with sustainable vendors who explain why their products were created & demonstrate how they work. Come enjoy Piedmont Park this Sunday.
