How to tune a three string cigar box guitar
Tunings for a 3-string cigar box guitar
Utilizing A,D,G strings from a set of guitar strings
Open G tuning: G-D-G
Notes are listed from low to high (bass to treble)
Now go rock out on your tuned up 3 string CBG!

  2. Ya i agree with him, You've several choices for tuning once you've created your three string cigar box guitar. These tunings are from bass to treble: An Elizabeth A, G N G, An E G. I hope it will help you..... or if you have some doubts over it then you can take help from this: cigar box guitar

  3. I have the strings 5th=.042, 4th=.032, and 3rd=.025.From the top down.
    5th Played as the top bassstring,
    Don't know what is G-D-G
    I don't know anything about music.
